We took the boys to Circle C Ranch for some location scouting/hiking. Glad to see some end-of-season wildflowers were still hanging around. There was no water in Slaughter Creek – so we got to explore the creek bed, found a snake skin in a tree and climbed in, out and all over the place.

I got to meet Baby Juniper when she was less than 2 weeks old. She was happy and content being cradled under the blooming pomegranate tree in her backyard, laying on her hand-me-down quilt and being loved on by her parents and older sister, Bess.

I donated a series of Wildflower Mini-Portrait Sessions to Max’s school fundraiser this year. I’m happy to share the fifth of the five families that had the winning bids.

I donated a series of Wildflower Mini-Portrait Sessions to Max’s school fundraiser this year. I’m happy to share the second of the five families that had the winning bids.
As I was location scouting, I knew the bluebonnets would be gone for the year, but here at the TxDOT fields near 45th and Bull Creek, the Indian blanket flower, Pink Evening Primrose and Mexican Hat wildflowers were still out in abundance.
