You may remember this sweet family from last year. Warmer temperatures this time around. This year we embraced the hot summer weather and ended our family photo session in the fountain (photographer included). Putting the “wet” in “Wettermark.” Ben was a cute, cuddly sweetheart, who pointed out every trash can in the park (useful info). And Jessika and Alfred were game to splash around as well (favorite outtake HERE).

You may remember this delightful family – from either Aaron’s first birthday photos, his 6 month portrait session or their most recent holiday photos. Well this time around I was happy to also document Baby #2-to-be (it’s a girl!)
Braving high humidity and avoiding countless ant piles, we explored the loop behind Central Market, with stops to feed the ducks – taking photos all the way.

Say hello to Kristin, Paul, Harper and Camille – last seen here from their mini-portrait session in 2012. For their family portrait session this year, we went to the Texas Capitol.
Switching between summer dresses and tutus, the girls were great sports running over the grass and climbing up and down the stairs. Paul kept us all laughing (and stocked with jelly beans) while Kristin made sure we had everything we needed.

It is a real treat getting to photograph this kid every year. I can hardly believe he’ll be turning 6 soon. And not only was he a great sport – jumping, smiling, avoiding bees – he also had some hand-me-down toys to share with my little ones. Thanks, again, Truman – the firetruck is the new, most favorite toy.

You saw the sneak peek in October, but now it’s safe to share the whole Holiday Portrait Session of Kate and Carsyn. Kate’s grandpa handmade that white rocking horse – so we didn’t want to ruin the Christmas surprise of pictures of her with it. But now that the holidays are over, and holidays cards have all been seen, it’s safe to share these sweet images.
We met at the Brushy Creek Community Center– and with our October rain, the gardens were glorious. The girls were good sports to have Halloween, Fall and Christmas outfits all in one portrait session. Carsyn was determined to lift all the heavy pumpkins herself. That girl is a fireball! Kate was in love with the bells on her toes, and we could hear her jingling around the garden like the fairy she was dressed as.
