Tips for Family Photo Sessions at Mills Pond:
- This park is one of the spots in Austin that gets Fall color, so plan a late November, early December session if that’s important to you
- Popular with walkers and runners, this trail in Wells Branch also has a fishing pier and floating boat dock to use as backdrops
- You aren’t allowed to feed the ducks and geese on the water
- This park is dog-friendly, but all pets must be on a leash
- There’s a restroom at the park if needed during your session
