Bluebonnets, Bunny Ears and Bubbles – this sweet Round Rock family of five met me at Balcones District Park for their Bluebonnet Photo Session. Since it was also Easter and April Fool’s – we also did a few shots with bunny ears as well as bubbles from their baskets.

If you have kids, add Sweet Eats Fruit Farm to your “places to visit” list. And if you’re a photographer who lives near Georgetown, TX – add it to your “Spring Locations” list. Besides blossoms and blossoms of pink flowers in their peach orchard (for the photographer in you), you can also visit a petting zoo, jumping pad, hay maze, zip line, climbing wall, tire swing, giant mound of dirt to dig in (for the kid in you) – and this is all besides the seasonal “pick your own” strawberries, nectarines and peaches (and pumpkins in the fall).
Now Booking Spring Family Photo Sessions. Contact me if you’d like to reserve a spot in March – May 2018…
…and you want bluebonnets – last two weeks of March/first week of April are usually the best bets – but I’ll be keeping a close eye on the available fields and giving you updates if we need to move up or move back a session date. I have lots of spots around town (both North and South) I can suggest.
…and you want wildflowers in general – end of March through end of April should be fine.
…and you don’t require flowers – starting Saturday, March 17th through May 27th is your time window. What time period works best for you? Then let me know if you’d prefer an urban setting or a park. And if you have any locations in mind or want suggestions.
The best light is right around sunrise or 1-2 hours before sunset. So you’re looking at starting around 7:30am for morning sessions and starting around 5:30pm/6pm for evening sessions (time can vary depending on location).
Family photo sessions are 45min – 1 hour
Cost: $350 plus tax
You’ll receive all hi-res files (30-50/session) for your personal use
