Woods & Family were a treat to photograph – we climbed all around Butler Park last weekend. Woods kept us entertained between wanting to swing on willow tree vines like Spiderman – then keeping an eye out for alligators in the pond (phew – I think we’re safe). Then we ended the session with him showing us his soccer moves HERE.

With all the wide open spaces at the Barton Hills Pumpkin Patch to explore, we had a great family session. We checked out the corn maze, went down by the water and ended the morning as pumpkin heads (here). Larke was a ray of sunshine running from spot to spot until we hit upon the sandbox boat where she was content to stay, dig and play.

You saw the sneak peek in October, but now it’s safe to share the whole Holiday Portrait Session of Kate and Carsyn. Kate’s grandpa handmade that white rocking horse – so we didn’t want to ruin the Christmas surprise of pictures of her with it. But now that the holidays are over, and holidays cards have all been seen, it’s safe to share these sweet images.
We met at the Brushy Creek Community Center– and with our October rain, the gardens were glorious. The girls were good sports to have Halloween, Fall and Christmas outfits all in one portrait session. Carsyn was determined to lift all the heavy pumpkins herself. That girl is a fireball! Kate was in love with the bells on her toes, and we could hear her jingling around the garden like the fairy she was dressed as.
Once again, I met up with a charming family at the Brushy Creek Community Center. Their gardens were still in gorgeous bloom. Eight month old Benjamin was so curious about everything around him – and we were in a race against the setting sun to capture all the fun moments. And Rusty, their dog, made sure to add his own sweetness to the family photos.

Y’all, I can barely stand how much fun this family was to photograph. Those kids, Arden and Greyson, are bursting with personality and charm. And the weather couldn’t have been nicer to be out at Butler Park at sunset.
