Here is the Lofland Family at Mill Pond. Debbie, Eric, Maya and Nash were a joy to photograph. I think we laughed the whole way around the pond. They were great sports in the 30 degree temps (hence all the cozy blanket photos).

I’m happy to share more of my recent holiday families. The Wettermark Family drove in from Houston to repeat our yearly portrait session. They braved the 40 mph winds as we explored Twin Lakes Park. And how cute is their dog, Rusty in his holiday colors?

It’s always fun to hang out and take pictures of Woods & Family. I especially like documenting the gallery of facial expressions he can produce 🙂
We went to Old Settlers Association in Round Rock, TX. In between kicking the soccer ball around, we played hug attack, sang jingle bells and admired the old tractors. I’m happy to share their sweet family moments.

Now that the holiday cards have gone out, I can share the other half of Carsyn’s holiday portrait session (see Halloween photos HERE). We spent the morning at Mill Pond as she jumped, danced and posed.
Carsyn picked out the Christmas props herself – though the 6 foot inflatable Christmas Minnie Mouse was (sadly?) left at home.

It was a beautiful drive out to Drippings Springs for this Holiday Portrait Session. And once again I got to photograph a cute baby in a hat (as you know I am very-pro-hat for your photo sessions). After getting some photos by the Christmas tree (and doesn’t Sam look lovely HERE), we headed to their backyard for the rest of the photos.

Say hello to Jennifer, Audrey and Patrick. Jennifer is the friend who first told me about Mill Pond – which now has been home to many family portrait sessions this holiday season. (Thanks for the insider Wells Branch tip!) If you know of a scenic gem in your neighborhood, please pass it on.
While we were there, Audrey was glad to go exploring – climbing over rocks, collecting acorns and sticks and wanting to greet all the dogs going by. And that adorable hat – can we all just exclaim how 1920s wonderful she looks!
