For my latest family portrait session of the summer, we headed downtown to explore the Seaholm Power Plant, Butterfly Bridge and Austin Central Library. There are so many good spots in that two block radius. Even though it was over 100 degrees, this family was a delight – and full of smiles (and we made good use of my portable fan and had lots of water breaks between locations).

I was lucky to photograph these lovely people over the summer – but now it’s time to think about Fall!
All Stephanie Friedman photo sessions are all-inclusive. This means that for the listed price, you will receive:
- consultation by email before your session to discuss location, style, dress and preferences
- portrait session either at your house or on location that lasts roughly 45 minutes to 1 1/2 hours (and up to 2 outfit changes)
- online blog preview post
- an online slideshow of your images (approx. 40-50) you can share with friends and family
- all the digital images, edited and color-corrected (with black and white options as well) delivered online for your personal use to print and share
- you’ll receive your final images 2-3 weeks after your session.
Portrait Session (no deposit needed, payment due at the session) – $395 plus tax
- includes up to 5 family members; if you are including more than five people, please contact me for an estimate.
- milage surcharge added for travel outside of Austin, TX
- 10% discount given to photo shoots held on Friday evenings
- If you’d like to add a headshot to your session, it’s $25/person extra
- For every family session booked in 2018, I’m also donating $25 to a Donors Choose classroom

Celebrating his last day as a 10-year old, I went out with this sweet kid and his mom to explore South Congress. We walked from mural to mural at sunrise (the Mr. Rogers one is my fav) and ended with lemonade at Jo’s.

When Great-Grandma is coming for a visit from Florida, it’s a perfect time to schedule an extended family photo session.
I met up with this sweet family (with excellent hair) out at Old Settlers Association in Round Rock – since the request was for a country/barn/Texas feel. With a soundtrack of goats and chickens in the background, we made sure to get lots of family combinations before we all sweltered. (It was 101 degrees and the portable fan I brought to cool us off between location could only do so much).

If you were planning a 12 hour (yes, you read that right – 12 hours long(!)) party to celebrate a milestone birthday, and your guests would all be coming in costume to karaoke the night away, wouldn’t you want a photo booth to help document it all?
Well, I was happy to be hired as party photographer. So I grabbed my gold sequin backdrop, studio lights and borrowed some musical props to capture all the fun. Getting to photograph “Dolly” and “Kenny” while “Islands in the Stream” played and “Hall & Oats” while “Rich Girl” was on blast kept a smile on my face as I snapped away.
