Austin Senior Photo Session at Red Bud Isle
When your Class of 2023 Senior requests Fall Color – you go explore Austin to check out your favorite past spots. We chose Red Bud Isle for her location which had some beautiful yellow, red and orange trees along the water. Known as a dog park with a small parking lot, we had the place almost to ourselves on a cool Tuesday morning over Thanksgiving break.

If you’d like a photo location that’s centrally located, has parking, shady trails and views of the water – check out the Mayfield Reserve Trails. It’s located right next to Mayfield Park (Mayfield Park requires a permit and a location fee – but it’s free to take photos along the Trails).
Your kids will be able to climb trees and hike along the rocky paths. And then you can check out the flock of roaming peacocks next door after your photo session.

What goes into a School Marketing and Branding session?
- It starts with a phone call or in-person meeting to discuss your school’s needs.
- I’ll ask you what features and values you want to showcase to current and future students.
- I’ll come visit the school before the session to check out all the different locations.
- Then we’ll plan out a shot list for the day (or multiple days)
- I’ll then pack up my gear and arrive at the school.
- Sessions are scheduled in 2-hour blocks.

North Austin Park | Fall Family Photo Session
I met up with this family of four (plus furry friend) for their annual holiday photos at the Katherine Fleischer Park.
This 22-acre park includes a historic homestead and lots of green space.
Tips for a Family Photo Session at the Katherine Fleischer Park:
- EVENTS: Check the Wells Branch events page first to make sure there’s not a conflict in the park at the same time.
- LOCATIONS: Be gentle around the historic homestead buildings from the 1800s.
- AMENITIES: The park has restrooms by the playground you can use for outfit changes
