The Logue Family – portrait session
Just like last year, the Logues got a hot, humid 90 degree day for their photo shoot. Luckily The Blanton Museum of Art was kind and willing to let us come in and have the photography session in their atrium. That gorgeous blue background is Stacked Waters by Teresita Fernández.
For the time window of our shoot, the Museum was about to close (and it was Texas-OU weekend) – so the place was practically empty. With barely anyone else around, the kids got to run around the atrium, up and down the stairs, play follow the leader and then some hide and seek behind the columns. It was happy, quick-shooting chaos, with a few “freeze!” moments thrown in.

Meet Jasper and Cypress, two laid-back 10 week old twin boys. I met them and their mamas, Lisa and Corinne, down at Butler Park for their photo session – luckily early enough to miss the nearby ACL crowds. And what perfect timing, since they had just gotten Batman & Robin costumes from their aunt as well. The boys were so cooperative; it was a really fun shoot.
Meet one year old Luca and his parents, Stephanie and Mathias. Luca kept us busy crawling all over the yard finding new spots to explore. And by the end of the session, he enjoyed a swim in the pool. Luca, it was a treat seeing the world reflected in your curious eyes.
