The A. Family – Spring Portrait Session

The A. Family – Spring Portrait Session

Reading this family’s answers to my client questionnaire, it said that their youngest was “in a phase of refusing to have her picture taken.” And when I got to their house, she was hiding under a table. But once we got started, and I got to meet all her stuffed animals, we had a blast. Lots of giggles and climbing and booty-shaking.

The L. Family – Two-Part Family Photo Session

The L. Family – Two-Part Family Photo Session

This lovely family got a two-part photo session. We started out in the fog at the Butterfly Bridge and Central Library – but once the rain started, we had to call it quits. So we met up again at the park behind Central Market for some additional family pics.

The B. Family – Summer Portrait Session

The B. Family – Summer Portrait Session

This family of five was a pleasure to work with for their summer portrait session. I brought ice packs, and they had a cooler of drinks to beat the 95+ heat. We met at the Circle C trails in South Austin and stuck to the shade. Whether balancing on high heels, giving lots of hugs or avoiding the sticky burrs/ant piles – the kids were so easy going and fun to photograph.

Central Market Holiday Portrait Session Austin TexasTaking advantage of the cooler Fall weather, I met up with Steph, Mark, Maya and Bryn at Central Market for their Holiday Portrait Session. The girls had fun throwing leaves and looking for ducks in the pond (there were no ducks).

Max & Miles – Shaving Cream Art

Max & Miles – Shaving Cream Art

  1. Skipped putting out paper for the shaving cream painting because I knew my children have their own favorite canvas (legs, belly, head, etc.)
  2. It was Ted’s (excellent) idea for the mohawks
  3. Garden hose baths once again
  4. Next time I’ll buy more than one can of shaving cream (and put them in goggles)
  5. Can be educational since Max (briefly) practiced writing some words on his cooking tray
  6. Half-way through I put down the camera so I could get in on the action (not captured)
The Catania Family – Spring Portrait Session

The Catania Family – Spring Portrait Session

Ginny, Elliot and Levi met me for sunrise at Lady Bird Lake last weekend. We explored the fields of wildflowers then watched the rowers on the water. The bluebonnets were almost gone, but the Indian Paintbrushes more than made up for it.
